Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for subscriptions and add-on services purchased from SideKick (“we”, “us”, “our”), headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
1) 14-Day “No Questions Asked” Refund (New Subscriptions)
If you’re not satisfied with your SideKick subscription, you may cancel within 14 calendar days of the initial charge and receive a full refund — no questions asked.
The 14-day window starts from the subscription charge date (not from project kickoff or first draft).
Limited to the first billing cycle of a new subscription (per customer/company).
Refunds cover SideKick’s subscription fee only. Pass-through costs (e.g., domain purchases, premium plugins, stock assets, paid third-party tools) are non-refundable.
2) Cancellations After 14 Days
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting support. After the 14-day window:
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
No refunds or credits are issued for partial months or unused time.
3) Plan Changes (Upgrades/Downgrades)
Upgrades take effect immediately. We may charge a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the cycle.
Downgrades apply at the next renewal. Current cycle charges remain unchanged.
4) One-Time Add-ons & Project Work
For add-ons purchased with a new subscription: if you request a subscription refund within 14 days, work already delivered on add-ons may be deducted or charged separately. Pass-through costs are non-refundable.
For add-ons purchased without a new subscription or after 14 days: fees are non-refundable once work has started or assets have been allocated.
5) Domains, Licenses & Third-Party Fees
Costs we pay to third parties on your behalf (e.g., domains, SSL, paid plugins, premium themes, stock media, email services) are non-refundable and may remain payable even if you cancel.
6) How to Request a Refund
Email contact@sidekick.tech within 14 days of your charge with:
Account email and company name
Invoice/transaction ID
“Refund request” in the subject line
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, it can take 5–10 business days to appear.
7) Chargebacks & Disputes
If something’s off, please contact us first at contact@sidekick.tech. Filing an unnecessary chargeback may delay resolution. We’ll help quickly.
8) Fair Use & Exceptions
We reserve the right to decline repeat or abusive refund claims.
Refunds and cancellations are subject to applicable UAE consumer protection regulations where relevant.
9) Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Dubai, UAE.
